Having worked in high-stress finance and systems roles for several years, I found myself looking towards hobbies which could help to bring down my stress and help my brain unwind from the workday.
I took part in an art class on warm Sunday afternoon, picking up a paint brush for the first time in years, and using oil paints for the first time in my life, and found the peace and sedentary I had been craving.
My house is now overflowing with artworks and the rest is history, as they say.
I am mainly inspired by Bob Ross and Bill Alexander, whilst trying to find my own niche.
