'Three Rules of Authentic Trappist' - Limited Edition Beer
The Three Rules of Authentic Trappist is a full-bodied, perfectly
balanced Dubbel. The beer is characterised by a full, layered taste of
sweet caramel, toasted malt, and a hint of peat, combined with subtle
spicy and hoppy notes. This leads to an unparalleled taste experience
with every sip.
Trappist breweries La Trappe, Tynt Meadow, and Zundert proudly present an extraordinary new beer: Three Rules of Authentic Trappist. In the deepest secrecy, the three Trappist abbeys worked together on the brewing process from which a distinctive Dubbel has emerged. Three Rules of Authentic Trappist is a tribute to the three authentic rules by which the Trappists live. Part of the proceeds of the new beer will benefit Trees for All.

About The Maker: Tynt Meadow
About The Maker: Tynt Meadow
Trappist beers tend to be named after the place in which the monastery is situated. We’ve called ours ‘Tynt Meadow’, to honour the link with the plot of land on which monastic life was refounded here in the Midlands almost two centuries ago. Being part of the great Trappist tradition, we’ve chosen to produce a strong dark ale, but one with a clearly English character.
Tynt Meadow is mahogany-coloured, with a subtle, warm red hue, and a lasting beige head. Its aroma carries hints of dark chocolate, liquorice, and rich fruit flavours. The beer is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate.
