Art was a subject I loved at school and my interest in art was revived when we moved to Abu Dhabi in 1997. I joined a pastel art group and really enjoyed learning how to create in this medium, progressing to participating in exhibitions and undertaking pet portraits commissions. To further my knowledge I took a Pet Portraiture course with the London College of Art.

I recently moved back to the UK, having lived abroad for over 30 years, and joined Ashby Art Club which I find a really supportive group of people to share ideas and be inspired by.
