The seals are used for hydraulic fluid, oil and have also been made for the Thames Barrier. The business is now run by Grahame's son. Grahame did some woodworking courses and enjoyed them and found them relaxing, so set up his garage as a workshop. He has been making wooden pens, jugs and bowls for around 20 years. The Bishop of Leicester has a pen. Some wood is used from holy Island olive wood from Bethlehem and is certificated. The pens have standard refillable cartridges that are available from WHSmiths, online or from Grahame, making them more enviromentatally friendly than disposable pens.
